Why one seasoned designer beats a bigger team

The easy part is starting.

  1. .01

    The audit pays for itself

Start with the $1,800 audit. If you go ahead with a project, every dollar of it comes off the price.

  2. .02

    Your price, in writing

A fixed quote within 48 hours of our first call. It changes only if the scope does, and never without your sign-off.

  3. .03

Half to start, the rest as it lands

50% when we begin. The other 50% is split across milestones we agree on before the work starts.

  4. .04

    One designer, start to finish

The person on your first call is the person who designs, tests and hands over. No juniors behind the curtain.

Questions

Money, time and how it works

The questions that come up before anyone signs, answered plainly.

  • Because no two projects are the same size. The price on each card is where that kind of project starts. After our first call you get a fixed quote for your exact scope, in writing, within 48 hours.

  • 50% when we start. The other 50% is split across milestones we agree on in the proposal, such as the design review and the handover, so payments follow the work instead of running ahead of it.

  • Fixed price for defined projects, monthly for ongoing work. I don't bill by the hour, because it rewards the wrong thing. You should know the cost before we start.

  • Small adjustments are part of the work. If something genuinely new comes up, I quote it separately and you decide whether to add it now, later or not at all. Nothing is billed without your approval.

  • Yes, in full. If you go on to a project after the audit, its fee comes off the project price.

  • US dollars. Every quote and invoice is in USD.
