Services

Four ways I can help, from first idea to growth.

    Branding & Marketing

Identities that are easy to recognise and hard to forget, plus the campaign and AI-assisted graphics that keep them consistent once they are out in the world.

    • Brand identity design

Logo, type, colour, voice and a guideline your team can actually follow.

    • AI graphic design

Art-directed AI imagery and campaign assets, on brand and at volume.

Best for  New companies naming themselves, and grown ones that no longer look like what they sell.

    Product & UX Design

Apps, websites and dashboards for products with real complexity underneath. I design the flows first and the pixels second, so the result is calm to use and straightforward to build.

    • Mobile app design

iOS and Android apps designed around the jobs people open them for.

    • Website design

Marketing sites built to rank, load fast and turn visits into enquiries.

    • Dashboards & data visualisation

Dense data made readable, from ops consoles to analytics suites.

    • Design for AI

Copilots, agents and chat interfaces that people trust and understand.

    • Design systems

Tokens, components and documentation that keep a growing product consistent.

    • MVP design & rapid prototyping

A clickable, testable product in weeks, ready for users or investors.

Best for  Teams with a product that works but feels harder to use than it should.

    UX Research & Audit

Evidence before opinion. I find out what users actually do, where the product loses them, and which fixes will move the numbers you care about.

    • UI/UX audit

A ranked list of what is costing you users, with the fix for each.

    • Discovery research

Interviews and field work that turn assumptions into decisions.

    • Usability testing

Real people, real tasks, recorded, with clear patterns pulled out.

    • Competitive benchmarking

Where competitors are ahead, where they are exposed, and what to copy.

    • Surveys & behavioural analysis

Quant and analytics read alongside interviews, so numbers have reasons.

    • AI product research

How people really use, misuse and trust your AI features.

Best for  Teams arguing about the roadmap, or watching a metric slide without knowing why.

    Product Strategy Consulting

For teams building something complex. A senior second opinion on positioning, product direction and the design decisions that are expensive to reverse.

    • Brand strategy consulting

Positioning, naming and messaging grounded in what buyers care about.

    • Product design consulting

Design leadership on call, for teams without a seasoned designer in house.

    • Digital transformation consulting

Moving legacy workflows to digital products people adopt willingly.

    • Growth & marketing consulting

Funnels, onboarding and activation, fixed where the drop-off really is.

Best for  Founders and product leads facing a decision they only get to make once.

How a project runs

The same four steps every time, so you always know what happens next and what you will have at the end of each week.

  1. .01

    Listen

    Week 1
    Brief

A working session and short research sprint to agree on the real problem, the people it affects and what success looks like.

  2. .02

    Map

    Week 1 to 2
    Flow map

Flows, structure and direction mapped before any polish, so we disagree early, when changes are cheap.

  3. .03

    Make

    Week 2 onwards
    Prototype

High-fidelity design in short loops, tested with real users and reviewed with you every week.

  4. .04

    Hand over

    Final week
    System

Production-ready files, a documented system and a recorded walkthrough, plus two weeks of build support.

Portrait of Abhinab Guru, founder of Clearing

You work with me. Not a team you never meet.

I'm Abhinab Guru. I started Clearing so that clients get senior judgement on every decision, not just in the pitch. I keep the client list short on purpose.

No handoffs
The person on your first call designs every screen and presents every review.
No overhead
You pay for design, not account managers, offices or a pitch team.
No guesswork
Research and reasoning come with the work, so decisions hold up in the boardroom.

Questions

Asked before every project

Straight answers to what people really want to know before hiring a one-person studio.

  • Directly, every time. The person on the first call is the person who designs, presents and hands over the files. There is no account manager in between and nobody junior doing the work behind the scenes.

  • For most early and growth-stage products, yes, and it is usually an advantage: the research findings, the product decisions and the brand never get lost between departments. When a project needs specialist depth, such as illustration, motion or engineering, I bring in people I have worked with before and stay accountable for the result.

  • Every project has a written plan with buffer built in, and files live in your workspace from day one, not mine. Planned leave is agreed before we start. If something unexpected happens, you will hear about it the same day, along with a revised timeline.

  • Two at a time, never more. That limit is what keeps the quality up and the turnarounds fast, and it is why the booking widget shows how many slots are open this month.
